Once more the Scouts of Middlesbrough welcome you to The Middlesbrough Theatre as we perform "Gang Show 2014". We have Brownies in the show for the first time and this coincides nicely with them celebrating their 100 year anniversary. The Show has also collaborated with 'Help for Heroes' to provide a tribute to our Armed Forces using some of Ralph Reader's many military themed songs. RoseFrank.jpg
The principles of the Gang Show are to conform to the purpose of Scouting which is - "To actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society". This is exactly what we believe Gang Show does for the youngsters who take part, but don't just take our word for it watch the show and judge for yourselves. This year, as in the past, everyone connected with the show have been working very hard. From cast members to the many unseen volunteers who have given countless hours of their time since before Christmas. Our grateful thanks go to them all. We would also, on behalf of the show, wish to thank the Theatre Management and Technical staff who have once again given us valuable help and advice in bringing the show to this excellent venue. We believe this is a top class show, so sit back, cast your cares away and enjoy !

Welcome to you all, and thank you for coming along to 'Gang Show 2014'. Many previous cast members have returned and it's great to see many new faces. Being a cast member it is always a surprise to see what numbers are being prepared for you, the audience, and I am certain you will enjoy the show. Chris and his team have worked a great deal to ensure this show entertains you all. MbroScoutBadgePlain01.GIF
Since my first show in 1988 I have seen many changes but in that time I still see the enjoyment and happy faces of all the cast from the first rehearsal to the last show. The Production Team, Wardrobe, Choreographers, Musical Director and Orchestra along with all other Back-Stage & Backroom staff involved have worked very hard to try and raise the funds needed and still provide the quality show you the audience deserve to see. The team of volunteers who prepare the scenery do an amazing amount of work in the build up to the show. The cast have been amazing throughout rehearsals and believe me, we need to learn a lot of things in 3 months. Middlesbrough Scouts and the work of the Executive Committee are the envy of many across the Country, their hard work and valued support in Scouting and in this show is appreciated by all of us. I would like to thank all of those involved in 'Gang Show 2014' and hope you enjoy the performance. If you do, please tell others and encourage your friends and family to come and see it.
