To paraphrase a familiar song "Once again it's Gang Show Time", and it seems no time at all since our last production. In fact during the intervening two years a considerable amount of planning and preparation has taken place for "Gang Show' 90".

Since early January this year Cub Scouts, Scouts, Venture Scouts, Leaders and the Scout Fellowship of East and West Middlesbrough Districts, not forgetting the Girl Guides and Rangers, have been working together in order to provide you with your entertainment this evening. All this as well as their usual scouting activities. The Scouts themselves are working to increase the profile of Scouting by being involved in "Scouts go for a Million", in which patrols have to gain as many points as possible from different activities during 1990. The U.K. patrol with the greatest number of points at the end of the year will win an expenses paid trip to the World Jamboree in Korea during July/August 1991.
