When Ralph Reader started his Gang Show I do not believe that he or any of us could have seen the impact that it has had on scouting life everywhere. The amount of entertainment provided by Gang Shows all over the world to the relatives, friends and supporters of the movement has been tremendous. Middlesbrough has established a first rate reputation in this field and I am sure that the entertainment we shall be seeing will live up to the very high standards they have set in the past.

I wish the Gang Show, the Committee and the helpers a successful and happy outcome.
